There are some people you meet in life and think, wow what a heart that woman has. I mean you can just feel it. She has a smile that is incredibly warm and she softens your day when you pass by her. Her voice was sweet. Her work was giving her time to our children in our local school.  This is Faye Manders. It breaks our hearts to know she's passed away today. At Hopewell Baptist, I remember seeing her singing in the choir and at silent cake auctions and all the other exceptionally close gatherings, Faye was just always there to lend a hand.  As all the woman of Hopewell, Faye cooked and served and took care of her family, and church family. Faye was very connected to that extended family.  Perhaps the most touching part for me, was how when my daughters attended Summit Hill Elementary, Faye was often there during the freezing cold Winter months at carpool to greet them first thing each morning. Again, with her beautiful smile, her sweet soft voice, and her very warm hands.

Rest well sweet Faye.... one of those who gets a zip line pass, with that bursting full feeling in your heart... right into Heaven. xoxo
